Sliding Into Home with Discussion Questions Is Out
HAPPY NEW YEAR. I am happy to announce that Sliding Into Home's expanded edition is now available for teachers, group leaders and parents. Soon to be on the shelves at local Bay Area bookstores, Sliding Into Home: Expanded Edition can be found on Amazon. My hope for 2019 is that we all work towards bringing awareness and change around issues of racism, discrimination and inequality in our country. Let us not contribute to the fear mongering and division created by language and rhetoric that blames immigrants for our woes, separates families, and imprisons innocent children. Let us not remain silent as our society justifies and ignores the killing of black people in our streets, and in their own homes.
If you would like to see Sliding Into Home in your child's classroom, or group discussion please contact me at ninavp@earthlink.net and put "Sliding Into Home" as the subject heading. I will send a copy of the book and an introduction letter to your schools curriculum administrators, or group leaders. See below for topics covered in the Discussion Guide.
MAY 2019 BE FILLED WITH PEACE AND COMPASSION FOR ALL!
